Your student, ________________ has related to me that he/she is interested in working in an Alternative Health Care office for his/her internship with your program. While The Cerio Institute, formerly Holistic Health Services, has been in existence for twenty years, it has been very small and concentrated on private practice and health care product sales. At this time, we are restructuring the business and developing an Institute. We will have a component for private practice, as we do now, and our one, five, and ten year plan allows for expansion and refinement of the private practice component, an educational sector, a community clinic, and a research arm. • Health care product processing and research

• Continuing Education Credits for segments of the Health Field

• Market Research in relationship to new business development in Alternative Health Care

• Creating sample videos of what we offer in the educational arena

• Development of marketing strategies for new business

• Refining Grand Rounds Presentation Intentional Touch™ Partnership of Conventional and Alternative Health

• Development of business plan for new business

• Brochure for The Cerio Institute

• Launching a new business

• Partnership of Conventional and Alternative Health Care

Your student will learn many valuable skills as he/she observes and participates in all of the above areas. Some of the skills he/she will acquire and reinforce are:

• Business ethics and legalities

• Client retention strategies

• Research skills in business, supplements, and health care products, and serious health conditions

• How to run an Alternative Health Care office

• What criteria to use for pricing, facility choice, and marketing

• How to write a business plan

• How to write a newsletter meaningful to the business clientele

• How to write, package, and present Holistic curriculum in educational settings

• Working with the medical community

• Working as a team member towards specific goals

We will guide and mentor your student directly, providing constructive, careful guidance and feedback.
